Tech Lead (m/f)


The “Tech Lead”, a role that could also be defined as “Lead Developer”, is an agent who, in addition to his or her work as a developer, also helps to lead and advance the technical level of his or her team (max 9 people).

Role & responsibilities

  • Ensure the development of technical assets required by the CSSF, microservice oriented, integrated with a continuous deployment platform
  • Participate in the technical analysis of IT solutions to propose applications and tools required by business users
  • Ensure security by design, integrity, IT support and evolutionary maintenance of technical assets
  • Contribute to ensuring an incremental, iterative, frequent and consistent delivery flow
  • Ensure an exemplary level of code quality, e.g. by implementing unit tests, and promoting their automation, to ensure acceptance and avoid application regression
  • Ensure and contribute to the writing and maintenance of documentation relating to technical assets
  • Maintain a permanent update of his/her knowledge about the evolution of IT technologies and the regulations in force in the CSSF business lines
  • Ensure and facilitate knowledge sharing within his/her team
  • Provide input on system architecture and design (in a variety of technologies, many of which will need to be learned "on the job")
  • Technical direction of team members, reviewing the results of their work (code reviews, pair programming, release management, dependency management)
  • Technical consultations with the Product Owners
  • Ensure the animation and coaching of the team according to the Scrum framework adapted to the CSSF context

Your profile

  • University degree (minimum 3 years) in computer science, or other with a computer science option
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in object-oriented development and development tools
  • Knowledge of concepts related to DevOps and continuous integration platforms
  • Knowledge of an agile project methodology
  • Scrum certification is considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of the financial sector and open-source solutions
  • Java / Java 11+ / Spring / Springboot / Spring Security / Hibernate / JPA / Javascript / ReactJS/ PostgreSQL / RabbitMQ / Ansible / git / Jenkins / Maven / Gradle / Linux / HTLM5 / CSS3 / Bootstrap / NodeJS / Secure coding (OWASP) / SQL / Docker / Swarm / K8S / Devops / Keycloack
  • A background in software development

  • The candidate must be willing to go beyond the purely technical aspect, understand the practical side of things and collaborate with other people to achieve a broader goal. Coding is a key part of the job, but it's not the whole story. We always try to select the technologies that are best suited to solving the client's problem, not take what is currently fashionable

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
