Liquidation Analyst (m/f) (m/f)

Mission

The “OPC OPS” service is recruiting for its Surveillance of OPCs and non-judicial liquidation compartments division (« OPS LIQ ») an OPC Liquidation Analyst (m/f)

The « OPS LIQ » division is responsible for monitoring non-judicial liquidation operations:

  • Investment funds undergoing non-judicial liquidation (UCITS, OPC Part II, FIS, and SICAR, hereinafter referred to as « OPCs »)
  • Non-judicial liquidation compartments of active OPCs listed on the register

Post-merger operations are not handled by the division.

 

Role & responsibilities

  • Monitoring of OPC liquidation files, including oversight of service provider approval files during the non-judicial liquidation phase ;
  • Drafting of DOS ;
  • Coordination of common issues related to non-judicial liquidation of OPCs within the OPC business unit ;
  • Proposing, participating in, and managing business projects related to liquidation.

Your profile

  • University degree (Bac +4 / Bac +5) ;
  • Solid experience in the field of entities supervised by the OPC business unit ;
  • Knowledge of non-judicial liquidations, international sanctions, and Luxembourg company law regulations ;
  • Critical thinking and strong analytical skills ;
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills (e.g., market participants, public speaking) ;
  • Very good written and spoken English and French; knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish is an asset ;
  • Professional qualifications in accounting or LBC/FT/FP (CAMS/CFE/REA/auditing) are an advantage ;
  • Ability to manage multiple evolving files simultaneously ;
  • Strong sense of priorities and decision-making capability ;
  • Rigor and organisational skills ;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ;
  • Flexibility and initiative ;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
