Technicians in the field of safety technology (m/f)

Mission

Within the “Health & Safety” division, you will be mainly in charge of the general physical security of the site and will participate in its daily management.

Role & responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper functioning of the technical security installations (access control system, video/image wall system, visualization system, intrusion alarm system, fire alarm system, extinguishing system, sprinklers, emergency exits, etc.)
  • Actively participate in the implementation of safety, health and environmental missions
  • Development and implementation of new safety projects to increase and improve the level of safety within the CSSF in consultation with the supervisor(s)
  • Assign access rights. Manage and create access rights in collaboration with subcontractors, internal collaborators and visitors
  • Carry out regular security audits
  • Follow the work and accompany the subcontractors, including the related schedules on a continuous basis
  • Write and update safety procedures
  • Actively participate in evacuation drills
  • Participate in the updating of the safety/environmental register and continuously update its content
  • Active participation in updating the risk management register and constantly updating its contents.
  • Planning and assistance for mandatory regulatory controls
  • Follow-up on the monthly/annual controls of the technical security installations and elaboration of possible measures

Your profile

  • High school/secondary technical diploma (DAP / BAC) in the field of electrical engineering with a specialization in security
  • Min. 3 years of professional experience in the field of building security or in a similar function
  • Diploma as a public service safety officer or designated worker would be an asset
  • Professional experience in risk management is an asset
  • A Project Manager Diploma/Specialization is considered as an advantage
  • Knowledge of modern methods and tools for building security and safety systems
  • Fluency in German and a good understanding of Luxembourgish and English. Knowledge of French is an asset
  • Good command of common office tools (MS Office)
  • Good writing, analysis and synthesis skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Discretion and professionalism

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
