IT Incident manager (m/f)

Role & responsibilities

  • Ensure the handling, prioritisation, and resolution of major incidents
  • Coordinate various stakeholders to restore service as quickly as possible
  • Organise and lead status meetings during critical incidents
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with stakeholders
  • Document and follow up on each incident (post-mortem, root cause analysis, corrective action plan)
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of incident management processes

Your profile

  • Master’s degree (Bac +4 minimum) in computer science or other field with a computer science option
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in incident management or a similar position
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English is mandatory
  • Understanding of technical environments (infrastructure, networks, systems, applications)
  • Proficiency in incident management best practices (ITIL certification is an advantage)
  • Experience with incident management and monitoring tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Splunk, etc)
  • Experience in a highly critical environment is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Leadership and ability to manage crisis situations
  • Analytical and synthesis skills
  • Sense of priorities

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
