Analyst (m/f)

Role & responsibilities

  • Management and operation of all types of financial data (i.e. quarterly and annual reportings, AIFM reporting, etc.) submitted by the investment fund managers (« IFM ») as well as the improvement and development of tools for analyzing these reports
  • Analysis of the reports submitted by IFM (quarterly review of identified exceptions based on exception reports implemented within the division, etc.)
  • Coordination with the other divisions and, if necessary, other CSSF departments
  • Drafting of procedures and development of templates necessary for prudential supervision of the IFM
  • Exploitation of the reports submitted in relation to the Circular CSSF 21/789 (as amended by Circular CSSF 23/839) as well as the implementation and execution of prudential supervision actions based on an annual plan
  • Drafting of publications/analyses intended for market participants
  • Participation in working groups and in the monitoring of development projects

Your profile

  • Four- or five-year university degree (Master level) in economics, finance
  • Proven professional experience in project management and the development of analysis and reporting solutions
  • Good knowledge of the law of 17 December 2010 relating to undertakings for collective investment, of the law of 12 July 2013 on alternative investment fund managers as well as the regulatory and legal obligations that IFMs must adhere to
  • Very good knowledge of prudential reporting applicable to the fund industry (U1.1, O4.1, G2.1, AIFMD Annex IV, etc.) and the CSSF database
  • Minimum professional experience of 3 years within the field of UCIs and/or IFMs
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken French and English, including the drafting of analyses/publications. Knowledge of German and Luxembourgish will be considered as an asset
  • Excellent command of IT tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with proficiency in Power BI being an asset
  • Ability to work autonomously and rigorously, ability to work in a team, analytical skill, communication skill, excellent writing skills, synthesis skill
  • Proactive, rigor, flexibility, sense of initiative / keen to take initiatives

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
