Mission

Within the “Facility Management” division, you will mainly be in charge of the “general safety aspect” of our premises and will participate in its day-to-day implementation.

Role & responsibilities

  • Issue access authorisations and monitor access management
  • Ensure the proper implementation and monitoring of waste management
  • Carry out regular safety and environmental audits
  • Follow-up the work and accompany the subcontractors, and follow up the related maintenance schedules on a continuous basis
  • Participate actively in the Local Safety Committee
  • Write and update safety procedures, in particular those relating to the environment and waste management
  • Provide safety and environmental training
  • Actively participate in evacuation training
  • Participate in the update of the security/environment registry and continuously update its contents
  • Write safety instructions for subcontractors, evacuation instructions for personnel and constantly update their content
  • Ensure compliance with the legal requirements on occupational health and safety
  • Assist in the prescribed regulatory controls
  • Carry out regular safety checks on infrastructure and equipment
  • Participate in incident management reporting
  • Assist the " Facility Management " team by encoding technical information into an integrated software program
  • Participate in the technical duty

Your profile

  • Secondary school leaving diploma / A-level or Vocational aptitude diploma (DAP /CATP), preferably in the field of safety or engineering
  • At least 3 years proven professional experience in the field of building security or in a similar function
  • Diploma of Public Service Safety Officer or designated worker is an asset
  • Diploma in first aid, first intervention team member and work at height
  • Knowledge of modern methods and tools for building safety and security systems is an asset
  • Common use of office automation tools (MS Office)
  • Fluent command of French or German; knowledge of English / Luxembourgish is an asset
  • Good writing, analysis and synthesis skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Discretion and professionalism

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.

    1. Our HR team will perform a pre-screening of all candidate files before transmitting applications to the respective hiring managers.
    2. Chosen candidates will be contacted for HR & business interviews, followed by a written test. At this point, we will also require a recent extract of your criminal record. Depending on the number of entries, the gravity of the offence(s) and the date of the conviction(s), a candidate may be excluded from the recruitment process.
    3. Following the interview process, the applications of selected candidates will be submitted to the head of department and/or a member from our board of directors for a potential additional interview.
