Role & responsibilities

  • Install, program and maintain servers and systems in operational condition
  • Provide incident support and solutions (level 2/3) and ensure the availability of business applications
  • Manage and guarantee coherence of the systems
  • Participate in containerization, virtualization and monitoring projects to improve managements systems
  • Work closely with the IT operations teams on complex projects, improving their technical skillset
  • Maintain and update documentation (installation and configuration files, technical operational files, etc.)

Your profile

  • Higher technician certificate, Associate degree (BAC +2/ BTS) or superior university degree level, with a specialization in Informatics
  • Minimum professional experience of 5 years in a similar position
  • Good level of oral and written French: Luxembourgish, English and German will be considered as an asset
  • Knowledge of Linux infrastructure systems (RedHat, Ubuntu)
  • Solid knowledge of network basics: TCP/IP, Ethernet, DNS, routing, …
  • Familiarity with the scripting languages Python, Bash
  • Knowledge of containerization solutions (Docker) and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes) are considered as an advantage
  • Strong analytical and synthetic skills
  • Reliable, able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Rigorous and a critical mindset

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.

Next steps

  1. Our HR team will perform a pre-screening of all candidate files before transmitting applications to the respective hiring managers.
  2. Chosen candidates will be contacted for HR & business interviews, followed by a written test. At this point, we will also require a recent extract of your criminal record. Depending on the number of entries, the gravity of the offence(s) and the date of the conviction(s), a candidate may be excluded from the recruitment process.
  3. Following the interview process, the applications of selected candidates will be submitted to the head of department and/or a member from our board of directors for a potential additional interview.
  4. The successful candidate will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’État”) and, if s/he meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

For diplomas obtained outside of Luxembourg, Belgium or The Netherlands, we additionally require proof of their equivalence with national standards.
