Role & responsibilities

  • Manage internal audit missions in the IT and information security field:
    • Identify I.S. risks of the CSSF and ensure that mitigation measures are in place
    • Perform audits on IT projects, on computer applications and information systems security
    • Analyze and assess IT working processes and provide concrete suggestions to improve the efficiency of audited processes
    • Draft audit reports
    • Ensure follow-up of audit recommendations
    • Provide the necessary technical support for the preparation and realization of audit missions in all CSSF’s activities

Your profile

  • Four or five-year Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a similar field
  • Proven professional experience of 7 years minimum as Information Systems Auditor
  • CISA, CISPP certifications will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of audit methodology and best practices in information technology
  • Excellent knowledge of IT processes and risks
  • Good technical knowledge (Software development, OS, network and security, database, …)
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken French and English. German and/or Luxemburgish will be considered as an advantage
  • Good writing skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Rigour, precision, confidentiality qualities
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Spirit of initiative and anticipation

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.

    Next steps

    1. Our HR team will perform a pre-screening of all candidate files before transmitting applications to the respective hiring managers.
    2. Chosen candidates will be contacted for HR & business interviews, followed by a written test. At this point, we will also require a recent extract of your criminal record. Depending on the number of entries, the gravity of the offence(s) and the date of the conviction(s), a candidate may be excluded from the recruitment process.
    3. Following the interview process, the applications of selected candidates will be submitted to the head of department and/or a member from our board of directors for a potential additional interview.
    4. The successful candidate will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’État”) and, if s/he meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

    For diplomas obtained outside of Luxembourg, Belgium or The Netherlands, we additionally require proof of their equivalence with national standards.
