Financial and non-financial information enforcer (m/f)


The Enforcement Division of the MAF-I Department is looking to strengthen its team.

Role & responsibilities

  • Examine the financial and non-financial information published by issuers of securities
  • Carry out the necessary investigations and controls with issuers in this context
  • Elaborate the actions and decisions to be taken following these controls
  • Contribute to the development of the approach and monitoring tools
  • Participate in the work carried out within the framework of the European cooperation in this field

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Economics or Finance (Bac +4/5)
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of auditing or preparing financial and non-financial reporting
  • In-depth practical and theoretical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and national accounting standards (Lux Gaap), as well as applicable financial legislation. Knowledge of and interest in sustainability issues would be appreciated
  • Proficiency in written and spoken French and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish and/or German will be considered as an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Critical thinking, good writing, analytical and synthesis skills
  • Rigor and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and sense of initiative

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
