Mission

As a member of two separate divisions, your primary responsibility consists in the examination of authorisation files and the prudential supervision of securitisation undertakings authorised under the Law of 22 March 2004 on securitisation (“SU”)

At the same time, you will be responsible for the prudential supervision of a portfolio of investment fund managers under the obligations of the Law of 17 December 2010 relating to undertakings for collective investment and/or the Law of 12 July 2013 on alternative investment fund managers (“AIFM”).

Role & responsibilities

  • Process authorisation requests (initial authorisation or changes in the life cycle) of SU and AIFM
  • Be responsible for the prudential supervision of a portfolio of SU and AIFM (analyse the various reportings, annual accounts and recommendation letters as well as issuance and control documents; review regulatory compliance and evaluate risks inherent to the organisation and activity of SU and AIFM)
  • Be a designated contact for all queries on SU and AIFM
  • Participate in the preparation of meetings with representatives of SU and AIFM and, where applicable, draft the minutes of such meetings
  • Prepare and, where applicable, participate in on-site inspections of SU and AIFM
  • Examine questions relative to the legal framework for SU and AIFM
  • Draft decision memos for the attention of the board of directors
  • Cooperate with other departments within the CSSF on various files and topics
  • Contribute to the development of the legal framework and supervisory tools

Your profile

  • Master degree (BAC+4/+5) in economics, finance, management, business administration or law
  • Proficiency in written and spoken French and English. Knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish would be an advantage
  • Minimum professional experience of 3 to 5 years in the financial sector, ideally linked to securitisation or within an entity related to AIFM, would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of the legal framework
  • Excellent writing and concise analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
